Artist Bio — Jackki Harrt

Jackki Harrt is a Montreal-based hard-rock/punk project delivering raw, high-voltage music rooted in honesty, grit, and emotional intensity. Drawing inspiration from the spirit of Green Day, Rancid, The Distillers, Joan Jett, and Bikini Kill, the band channels classic punk urgency through a contemporary lens, pairing anthemic riffs with fiercely personal storytelling.

Formed in 2024, Jackki Harrt quickly gained traction in the local scene. After playing their debut show in April 2025, the band’s explosive energy and unapologetic sincerity helped them earn early recognition. In 2026, they were selected to perform at Pouzza Fest and Bitch Fest!

Jackki Harrt’s music confronts the underbelly of modern life—songs that grapple with addiction, mental health struggles, the blurred edges of psychosis and reality, and the relentless pressure of surviving in the current economy. Their track “We All Bleed Red” tackles racism in the United States, while other songs explore themes of resilience, disillusionment, and the fight to stay grounded in a chaotic world. Their tone oscillates between searing vulnerability and sharp, sarcastic defiance.

The band is currently preparing their debut full-length album, set for first single release in Spring. Despite being a young project, Jackki Harrt has been met with strong reception, quickly building momentum through their electrifying performances and fearless approach to songwriting.

Bold, confrontational, and unfiltered, Jackki Harrt is carving out a distinct space in Montreal’s punk landscape—one that amplifies the voices and stories often left unheard.
